In true James Bond fashion, the class and glamorous allure of “Skyfall” will inebriate, ravish and ultimately escape you. Written by Adele and Paul Epworth, its rich arrangement and production – rightly so, for a 007 song – will string you along and eventually sweep you off your feet.
I was half-expecting the movie franchise to pick up Muse’s “Supremacy” and it’s heart-breaking they didn’t, but as far as biases go, I am very proud of Adele for the achievement. Responsible for the hits “Rolling in the Deep” and “Set Fire to the Rain,” she adorns the James Bond appeal with champagne and a black dress. Not at all dirty and brash, but menacing all the same.
